Modern Pentathlon NSW Launches 2026–2028 Strategic Plan
Modern Pentathlon NSW is pleased to launch its 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, setting out a clear roadmap for the future of our sport across the state.
Developed following the appointment of a new Committee, the Strategy identifies the key priorities that will guide the organisation over the next three years. It reflects a commitment to growing participation, strengthening athlete pathways, supporting volunteers and coaches, and building a sustainable, well-governed organisation.
While NSW has produced outstanding athletes and officials over many years, there is significant opportunity to expand the sport's reach and create more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved.
The Strategy focuses on practical, achievable initiatives that will:
- Increase participation and membership across NSW.
- Develop stronger pathways from grassroots through to high performance.
- Support athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.
- Build strategic partnerships with schools, universities, clubs and community organisations.
- Strengthen governance and ensure the long-term sustainability of Modern Pentathlon NSW.
The Strategic Plan is intended to be a living document, with progress regularly reviewed by the Committee to ensure initiatives remain focused and deliver meaningful outcomes for our members and the broader modern pentathlon community.
We invite all members, volunteers and stakeholders to read the Strategy and join us as we work together to grow the sport across New South Wales.
